We will meet at the Town Hall Square at the indicated time to start our guided tour. We will take the opportunity to get to know this beautiful building and all the curiosities that it hides, what sculptural wonder will it house in its interior?
We will arrive at the Explanada de España – a sign of identity for the people of Alicante – to immerse ourselves in the undulating mosaic of tesserae of its promenade, the sea breeze and its palm trees, how many do you think there are? We will take the opportunity to admire the Carbonell House and learn about the history it has to tell us.
We will pass through the central square Portal de Elche and then the Gabriel Miró, a romantic space where the murmur of water makes it a haven of peace.
Strolling through the streets, we will enter into the late night life of Alicante, which is concentrated in Castaños Street. In addition, in it we will find a combination of bourgeois facades, among which stands out the Salvetti Palace, a luxurious building converted into a hotel, which Spanish monarch would stay in their suites?
This visit would not be complete without talking about Alicante’s festivals and gastronomy, giving you a good excuse to come back. In front of the Hogueras Museum we will share with you our best recommendations.
We will continue to be captivated by the stories of this millenary city as we walk through the picturesque and intricate streets of the old town. We will visit emblematic places: the co-cathedral of San Nicolás de Bari, the convent of the Precious Blood of Christ and the oldest church in Alicante, the church of Santa María.
