We invite you to a very special walk through the modernist Valencia. You will be able to see first-hand the most characteristic examples of a style that has exalted tradition like no other and has left an unprecedented artistic mark on the most emblematic buildings of the city.
We will start our itinerary from one of the jewels of modernism: El Mercado de Colón, the building in the capital where Gaudí’s influences are most clearly visible.
We will continue discovering the most picturesque houses and mansions of the noble Ensanche, such as the Basilica of San Vicente Ferrer and the Ferrer House. Before we know it, we will arrive at the Estación del Norte, one of the most beautiful in Spain, which boasts a facade decorated with ceramic imitating oranges and an interior with mosaic murals and tiles.
Finally we arrive at the most central point of the city: the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, a space where it is impossible not to be attracted by the beautiful eclecticism of its buildings.
But we cannot forget that Valencia is much more, so we will also talk about its most important festivities, las Fallas, a great reason to return to the city!
We will continue our modernist journey, with some visual surprises such as the building of the Bank of Valencia, the Marqués de Dos Aguas Palace… and unique spaces such as the Plaza Redonda, the heart of the historic center.
We will culminate the guided tour in front of the Central Market.
Remember to look for the ORANGE umbrella, as soon as you arrive at the Mercado de Colón, you will see us right away!
