On the other hand, if you prefer more authentic and alternative products, we recommend you go to the neighbourhoods of Chueca or Malasaña, where you will find shops and businesses with a distinct personality of their own.

Its lively nightlife scene has been legendary since the famous Movida Madrileña of the 80s of the last century, but many people (especially foreigners) are still surprised by the number of clubs and discos you can find open any day of the week and at almost any time of the day. Go ahead and experience the night, but keep in mind that from 12 or 1 am onwards is when you’ll find the most interesting.
